PX continues slide, PTA trends up

Paraxylene price turned soft drastically in S E Asian region. Price was in between US$ 1785/ton US$ 1790/ton. In F E Asian market, price hovered in the range of US$ 1790/ton to US$ 1795/ton. PX price in Korean market was marked around US$ 1795/ton. In Chinese market, PX price stood around US$ 1785/ton.

Asian PTA price went up, in the range of US$ 1525/ton to US$ 1530/ton. Price of PTA in F E Asian region was quoted at US$ 1525/ton. In Indian market, PTA price was quoted around US$ 1525/ton. In Chinese market, price of PTA was assessed down in the range of RMB 11450/ton to RMB 11500/ton.

Ethylene price declined marginally in S E Asian market and assessed in the range of US$ 1245/ton to US$ 1250/ton. F E Asian market price was in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1245/ton. In European international and domestic market price was stable at US$ 1560/ton and € 1200/ton, respectively. In U.S.A market, ethylene was around 53.55 cents/pound to 54.75 cents/pound.

MEG price remained stable in the global markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1205/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG declined to the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In Chinese market, MEG price was in the range of RMB 9400/ton to RMB 9500/ton.

BGPET Chips price remained stable in S E Asian region. It was in the range of US$ 1930/ton to US$ 1940/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers was in the range of US$ 1935/ton to US$ 1945/ton for goods to be exported.

FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets were in the range of US$ 1850/ton to US$ 1880/ton. Price in Indian market was assessed in the range of US$ 1820/ton to US$ 1845/ton.
