Chinese PTA imports plunge in Feb

China's import volume of purified terephthalic acid (PTA) reached 333,000 tons in February 2011, down by 133,500 tons compared with January 2011.
The average price of declaration stood at US $1,381.91 / ton, according to customs statistics.
Import volume of other terephthalic acid (Customs Tariff No. 29173619) fetched 60,700 tons, also down by 54,100 tons compared with January. The average price of declaration was $1,347.11 / ton.
