In a bid to garner more support in their agitation against the hike in gas prices, the South Gujarat Textile Processors Association (SGTPA) is trying to rope in gas consuming industrial companies based in Bharuch and Ankleshwar.
At a meeting of SGTPA members, it was decided to approach Bharuch and Ankleshwar-based manufacturing companies, to acquire more support for their call for an indefinite strike from April 1.
It may recalled that the 400-member strong SGTPA had given a call for an indefinite strike from April 1, against what it terms an arbitrary increase in gas prices from the gas service provider.
