Preliminary agenda for the 70th Plenary Meeting

The Standing Committee has approved the Preliminary Agenda of the 70th Plenary Meeting of the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC).
The 70th Plenary Meeting will include a unique format split between two cities. The first part of the meeting from 4-8 September will be conducted in the Panamericano Hotel in Buenos Aires, and the second part of the meeting on 9 and 10 September will be conducted in the northern city of Sáenz Peña.
The Panamericano Hotel is located in the cultural heart of Buenos Aires, adjacent to major shopping and sightseeing areas. Sáenz Peña is the center of Argentine cotton production in the Province of Chaco and will offer the opportunity of viewing cotton production, ginning, research and processing as part of the 70th Plenary Meeting.
The theme of the meeting is Public and Private Sector Roles in the Cotton Value Chain: Ensuring Both Efficiency and Fairness.
