Nile Cotton Ginning Company (NCGC) which had been laid redundant since 2008 may be restarted again.
The Egyptian government is in talks with the management of the ginning company to restart all the seven factories owned by the company, said Egypt's state-run Middle East News Agency
The government will select and appoint a panel of experts to give direction to the management to start the factories again, the agency said, quoting a senior official of the Textile Workers Syndicate.
