Workshop on Best Practices by ICAC & GlobalWorks

The International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) Secretariat, in cooperation with GlobalWorks Foundation, is organizing a workshop on Best Practices to Ensure Responsible Sourcing in the Cotton Value Chain.
The workshop will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on May 11 at the Embassy of Australia, 1601 Massachusetts Ave., NW, Washington DC 20036.
The Workshop will showcase responsible practices by reputable performers in the private sector. Discussion will focus on how governments can encourage such activity. This Workshop will encourage adoption of best practices by showcasing effective strategies.
A panel of cotton merchants and planting seed producers will discuss the experiences of their companies in working within the cotton value chain.
Participation in the Workshop is complementary, but all participants should register in advance for ease of entry to the Embassy of Australia.
