The Japanese would provide a funding of one billion dollars to refurbish three textile factories in Angola.
An agreement for the same was reached between the governments of Angola and Japan. The funding would be done by the Japanese Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).
This was revealed by the Japanese ambassador to Angola, Mr Kazuhiko Koshikawa at a seminar on Official Assistance for Development.
The envoy said that, this was made possible as Angola had been able to achieve $4,000 in per capita GDP and would raise the cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
