Organised tour to visit Indonesian textile centres

A Queensland, Australia-based company is organizing a six-day group tour programme to textile centres in Indonesia.
The programme with focus on Bali handicrafts and textiles will begin on September 10, 2011 in Bali.
During the tour, the group will learn about the textile traditions of batik, ikat, endek, songket and Bali's unique double-ikat gerigseng style.
The tour will also involve a visit to textile centres and workshops at places like Sanur, Sidemam, Ubud, Gelgel and Teganan.
