NILIT, a global manufacturer and leader in the production of nylon 6.6, announced the signing of the NILIT (Suzhou) Engineering Plastic Technologies Co Ltd. "Expansion Project” which will broaden NILIT's business scope and investment in China. NILIT initially opened its nylon texturing facility in Suzhou, China in 2007 and its plastics compounding manufacturing facility in 2009. This contract testifies to NILIT's commitment to the Industry and to providing its Chinese customers with quality products and local, expert customer service.

A delegation from China flew to Israel on April 2nd for the signing ceremony. The Chinese representatives included Mr. Yan Li, Mayor of Suzhou Municipal People's Government, Mr. Yang Zhiping, Chairman of Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee, Mr. Tao Sunxian, Secretary General of Suzhou Municipal People's Government, as well as other municipality directors and Suzhou Industrial Park executives.

Festive Signing Ceremony and Dinner Event
The signing took place on April 3rd at the Hilton Hotel in Tel Aviv. Mr. Michael Levi, NILIT Chairman, and Mr. Yang Zhiping signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement. The ceremony was followed by a festive dinner at Herbert Samuel restaurant in Tel Aviv with the entire delegation present. Special guests at the celebratory dinner included Israeli executive financial figures and former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Amnon Shahak, former Army Chief of Staff and a member of NILIT's Board of Directors. As is customary, gifts were exchanged at the end of the evening.

"Working closely with our clients to provide superior customer service is a top priority at NILIT," commented Louis Rousso, Business Development Director of NILIT. "This expansion project will allow us to offer even better service and a wider product offering to our Chinese customers. We look forward to many years of continued prosperous business in China."

A Tour of NILIT's Facilities from Sky and Land
The following day, four members of the Chinese delegation visited the NILIT plant in Migdal Haemek, Israel. They were joined by Mr. Rami Bitensky, General Manager of NILIT China. At the factory, the delegation met with Michael Levi, Arie Gottlieb, General Manager, and Nilit's Directors, and toured the facilities. Following the NILIT plant visit, the Chinese delegates continued to Haifa for lunch before departing Israel that afternoon.
