Spot market of PTA imports was in downturn, market offer for cargo from Taiwan was around US $1200/ ton, downstream bid was around US $1,190 / ton.
Market offer for cargo from South Korea was around US $1,195/ ton, downstream inquiries were around US $1,180/ ton. Actually negotiated price was around US $1,185-1,190 / ton.
PTA market in North China weakened on May 25. Mainstream offer in the market fell to 9,600 Yuan / ton; downstream bids were around 9,500 Yuan / ton, actually negotiated price focused on about 9,550 Yuan / ton.
PTA market conditions in East China softened, cargo holders offered at around 9,600 Yuan / ton, downstream inquiries were around 9,500 Yuan / ton, actually negotiated price was around 9,550/ ton.
