Dissemination of MODSIMTex advances at Textile Olympics

ITMA (the International Exhibition of Textile Machinery) will take place in Barcelona for the first time in history during from September 22-29.
INTEXTER-UPC will have a booth in this international event allowing the dissemination of the MODSIMTex advances.
INTEXTER-UPC is a University Research Centre of the Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya (UPC). It is closely related to textile machinery constructors with whom it maintains some research agreements and, also, to textile production enterprises.
ITMA has been held every four years since 1951. It is the world's largest international textile and garment machinery exhibition, an event which is owned by CEMATEX. ITMA is recognized as the Olympics of the textile and garment machinery industry.
The ModSimTex project is an European Commission Community Research 7th Framework Programme, Priority 4 NMP Project.
The objective of the Project is to develop a system which will reduce dramatically the cost to develop new technical textile products by reducing the time, energy and raw material waste during the production machinery setup process.
