Birla Acrylic promotes Anti-Pill Fibers at Glam and Glitter

The fashion show was attended by eminent Industrialists, Educators, Socialites, Parents, Young aspirants and Alumni who applauded the commendable and dedicated efforts of the students in creating Thematic Garments.
The models swayed their bodies on the beats choreographed by Ms. Liza Varma former Femina Miss India who has to her credit 2500 shows around the world. The audience was mesmerized by the spectacular show as it became very difficult for them to select one theme out of the array f themes displayed on the ramp, which expressed that the garmentswith LPSS yarn containing Pilbloc were easy to wear, soft, colorful and thematic. The drape of the garments was incomparable, totally comfort personified.
Mohit Sagar from the MTV Roadies was the special attraction of the show.
The Chief Guest honorable Mr. A.K. Maheshwari appreciated the hard work and distributed the awards to the students selected by a special Jury in both the categores- Fashion Design and Knitwear Design. Eminent industrialists of Ludhiana sponsored the awards. Birla Acrylic sponsored two additional special awards.
The Chairman of SIFT Mr. Raj Avasthi congratulated the students and faculty members for their dedicated and diligent efforts. Ms. Anjali Avasthi the President of SIFT
complimented the students and their mentors.
Glam & Glitter 2011- The Fashion Show was indeed a platform where students expressed their innovation and creativity through the range of garments made with Pilbloc - the next generation anti-pill fiber from Birla Acrylic.
