JX Nippon to shut cracker for four days

JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corp will shut down its Kawasaki-based naphtha cracker on June 18, the company said.
The cracker will stay shut till June 22 for repair work, to resolve a problem.
The plant has an ethylene production capacity of 404,000 tons per annum.
Japan-based, JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corp is an oil refining unit of JX Holdings.
