During the Dragon Boat Festival, PTA spot, MEG, semi-dull and super bright polyester chips were under adjustment, CDP slice rose due to tight supply and PET bottle chip price showed transient stability.

CPL and nylon-6 chip prices temporarily consolidated, amid steadiness.

In polyester filament market, ex-factory prices of individual DTY varieties increased 100 Yuan / ton, individual varieties of POY and FDY rose 100-200 Yuan / ton.

Ex-factory price of semi-dull FDY63D/24F rose to 15,000 Yuan / ton. Polyester filament market is expected to cautiously maintain a bullish pattern.

Prices of polyester staple fiber 1.4D × 38mm were focused at 12,650 Yuan / ton. Viscose staple fiber price was slightly steady and was assessed at 20,500 Yuan / ton.

Yarn market extended slight decline, but trade volume was normal. Cotton yarn 32s and 40s had better demand, while other products witnessed relatively stable sales.

Among blended yarn products, viscose yarn, polyester/ cotton yarn fell in price, trade volume was small. Polyester yarn consolidated, polyester 32s and 45s had better demand than other products.

Rayon yarn market continued decline, trade volume of 30s was relevantly bigger.

Man-made yarn market is expected to extend declining trend.
