Noyfil SA (Stabio–CH), a company belonging to RadiciGroup Comfort Fibres Business Area, has obtained energy efficiency and climate protection certification for 2017-2018 by the Energy Agency of the Swiss Private Sector (EnAW). This is an important milestone for Noyfil SA, which produces and sells polyester yarns, in corporate sustainability.

The plant has obtained the renewal, for the period of 2017-2018 of the certificate for voluntary commitment to climate protection and energy efficiency by EnAW, an organisation founded in 1999 by the associations of Swiss economy that provides an energy management service using products, services and tools compliant with ISO:50001 standards.

Noyfil SA is voluntarily committed to reducing their CO2 emissions and optimising the energy efficiency of its production processes. This is another important milestone for Noyfil SA, who has been involved in this process with EnAW since 2015-2016. Furthermore, the company has recently obtained the environmental management system certification according to the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standard, in addition to Noyfil SA’s previously awarded quality management system certification according to the UNI EN ISO 900:2008 standard.

Noyfil SA deals in the design, production - by means of extrusion and spinning - and sales of polyester yarn (PES) and polylactide yarn, raw, mass-dyed and with additives. The target markets of the company are mainly sportswear and undergarments and the automotive and furniture industries. (RR)
