Online retailer Kraftily to sell Indian Handloom Brand goods

Online apparel and accessories retailer Kraftly, will now be selling handloom products bearing the 'Indian Handloom Brand' label, for which it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Development Commissioner of Handlooms. Under this exclusive agreement, Kraftly will be sourcing products directly from weavers and artisans.
“The marketplace will be sourcing handloom products from weavers and groups from four major handloom producing states like Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Assam and Andhra Pradesh,” media reports said.
The 'Indian Handloom Brand' is an initiative launched by the union textiles ministry to promote quality handloom products to encourage weavers and artisans. (AR)
