The Rs 162 billion package was announced to help the textile sector gain competitiveness in the international market. The government wants to revive confidence of the textile sector through the package, a top official of ministry of commerce and textile industry told a Pakistani news agency.
The package would be expanded to other industrial sectors, including the pharmaceutical sector, he said. (DS)
