PrimaLoft expands portfolio with Gold Insulation Active

PrimaLoft a producer of high-performance insulations and fabrics will expand its active platform with the launch of PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Active.
According to a press release, the PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Active provides breathable four-way stretch performance and unmatched warmth designed specifically for high-output adventures.
“Its proprietary construction enables excess heat and moisture to escape, keeping users comfortable and dry,” Primaloft added.
“In addition, product designers may use a wider variety of stretch shell, breathable outer and liner fabrics, resulting in more year-round choices for manufacturers, retailers and consumers,” it stated.
“The addition of PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Active to our roster of technologies is a natural progression in our innovation pipeline,” said Mike Joyce, president and CEO of PrimaLoft.
“This technology builds upon the success of PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Active, giving our brand partners more versatility in their designs meeting a growing consumer demand,” Joyce too added.

Specifically, a proprietary finish and manufacturing process locks tiny PrimaLoft fibres in place, preventing fibres from migrating through fabrics, allowing for use with more breathable, open weave and stretch materials.
“Engineered for high-aerobic actions like running, hiking or skiing, this soft, packable and water-resistant insulation regulates wearers' comfort levels during intense activity,” the company informed.
With its optimal thermal efficiency, PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Active can be worn all year long eliminating the need for repeatedly putting on or taking off layers during outdoor activities and is Bluesign approved.
