According to Yoshida, digital printing is of growing importance to the label market as customer demand shifts towards ever-smaller print runs and a growing variety of personalisation and customisation that requires ever-shorter time to market. “Our complete solutions of hardware, software and inks offer great advantages in this respect, as many label printers are experiencing this need today,” added Yoshida. “For example, combining printing and cutting into one production system makes our solutions ideally suited for labels and similar applications.
