According to industry experts, the label and package printing industry will witness a strong growth in the coming months as there will a surge in disposable and flexible packaging, which are now being considered more hygienic due to limited handling. The rise in food delivery and takeaway services is expected to further drive demand for disposable and flexible packaging. In continuation with its efforts to serve the industry with valuable insights from sector experts during the lockdown period, Messe Frankfurt India organised a series of webinars. During one of the webinars focused on “Embracing change in current business models to stay relevant”, Dharminder Biharie, CEO, BizzModell emphasised that “in the post lockdown era, the screen and digital printing industry will see a comfortable growth as there will be an increase in demand for food packaging and labelling manufacturers, especially in metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and others.”
