Sensient stops business with Turkey's SY Dijital

Sensient Imaging Technologies, a supplier of inkjet inks for digital packaging, food, pharmaceutical, and digital textile printing, has announced that since July 27, 2018, it has stopped doing business with the company SY Dijital. Sensient has initiated legal actions against SY Dijital. Sensient denies SY Dijital’s statements about a potential acquisition.
Sensient strongly values the digital textile market in Turkey and acknowledges the need for having a professional distribution channel.
“We realised in the past few months that our Turkish customers were misled by SY Dijital regarding our relationship with that company, and we sincerely apologise to our customers. We were facing serious issues with SY Dijital and this is why our business relationship was discontinued, and we decided to initiate legal actions against this company,” Jerome Jeanneret, managing director of inks Europe said in a press release.
