SGS joins ZHDC Programme

SGS, an inspection, verification, testing and certification company which offers independent services that help reduce risk, streamline processes, and helps companies operate in a more sustainable manner has joined the ZDHC Programme. This announcement follows previous announcements this month, welcoming eight new contributors to the ZHDC Programme.
“The work we do is important because it's aimed at making the value chain simpler, safer and more efficient,” Spencer Yeung, SGS vice president, Global Softlines said. “We've been working closely together with ZDHC over the past few years and it's great to now make this collaboration official."
The ZHDC Programme is a collaboration of brands, value chain affiliates and associates committed to eliminating hazardous chemicals from the textile and footwear value chain. (AR)
