Shima Seiki to hold private exhibition in Morocco

The Moroccan subsidiary of Shima Seiki, a Japanese manufacturer of flat knitting machines is holding a private exhibition in Casablanca, Morocco from September 27-29, 2016. The company will be displaying its latest in computerised flat knitting and computer knit design technology, alongside knit fabrics samples from its Wholegarment knitting technology.

The focus will be on the company's new SVR122 in 5 gauge knitting machine, which features the latest in computerised flat knitting technology like the DSCS Digital Stitch Control System, R2CARRIAGE system, wide gauge knitting capability, spring-type moveable sinker system, stitch presser, yarn gripper and cutter, and takedown comb.

On show is also its SIR122 for shaped knitting, available in both, 7G middle gauge and 14G fine gauge versions.

Shima Seiki will also offer demonstrations on the SDS-ONE APEX3 design system, which integrates knit production into one smooth and efficient workflow from planning and design to machine programming, production and even sales promotion. (AR)
