Showtime Market organiser ITMA has undergone a total rebranding and is now known as the International Textile Alliance (ITA). The new name and logo reflect the association's updated vision and mission. ITA has been chosen for its ability to communicate the organisation's many benefits beyond the Showtime Market - for which it is most closely known.

ITA’s new, streamlined logo features modern colors, a refreshed design and the organisation’s new tagline: Connections Happen Here. The logos for ITA Showtime Market and ITA Educational Foundation have also been updated to reflect the association’s new direction.

“In recent months we have worked closely with our board and members to hone our mission and define our reason for being. The result of this exploration is our new name: International Textile Alliance. We chose it for its ability to represent our commitment to our members and the industry year-round. Following that model, we have renamed our bi-annual event the ITA Showtime Market, and our education program is now called the ITA Educational Foundation,” said Catherine Morsell, executive director of ITA.

Uniquely positioned at the center of the textile, leather and trimmings industries, ITA is focused on providing resources and opportunities to its membership that promote industry advancement through education, awareness, advocacy and technology.

While the Showtime Market is a key benefit of membership, the organisation provides a variety of leadership, networking and educational opportunities throughout the year. These events are designed to support individual member businesses, as well as advance the industry.

“The association has always been, and continues to be, dedicated to investing in the future of the textile, trimming, and leather industries. We are very excited about our new name and logo, and the opportunities we are creating as the global resource for the textile industry,” said Todd Nifong, president and COO of Al Fresco Functional Fabrics.
