New exhibitors will join returning companies to unveil new sleeping products at the international trade fair for home and contract textiles Heimtextil which runs from January 12-15, 2016.

“Overall, Heimtextil sees growth in the 'bed' product group, which is made up of the areas of bed linen, bedding, duvets, decorative pillows and mattresses,” the organiser Messe Frankfurt said in a press release.

'We are delighted that leading representatives of the international mattress industry have opted for Heimtextil,” Meike Kern, director of household textiles at Heimtextil said.

“It serves as an optimal platform for the mattress industry, as nearly one in five visitors at Heimtextil 2015 were interested in mattresses, sleeping systems and bedding,' Kern added.

“There is hardly any other sector that is as international as the textile industry and above all, it's because Heimtextil is where the entire specialist trade meets,” Manfred Greiner, MD at Rössle & Wanner said.

In Gallery 1, Rössle & Wanner will be using its Röwa brand to address a wide range of topics and alongside a historical exhibition, innovative designs and sustainably produced articles will be displayed.

“Individuality, growing health awareness and sustainability dominate the mattress industry and textile digital printing, for instance, enables completely unique bed design,” Messe Frankfurt too added.

“At the same time, companies manufacture bed systems using recycled fibres and wood from sustainable forestry,” it stated.

Box spring beds remain firmly in fashion, which embellished by the addition of bed linen, covers and accessories, these beds catch the eye with their strikingly opulent look.

Numerous companies from the international mattress industry will be presenting these trends and much more at Heimtextil.

Another returnee to Heimtextil this year is f.a.n. Frankenstolz, a Germany based company, which will present its new products for mattresses and quilts.

Eberhard Künstler, Director of f.a.n. Frankenstolz said, “We have found that especially our customers from abroad are extremely dedicated about visiting Heimtextil, so this trade fair is of great importance for our export business.”

Visitors will be able to discover the entire range of textiles in the 'bed' area in halls 8 to 11, while the sleeping campaign in Gallery 0 will also offer comprehensive information on the topic of good sleep. (AR)
