Sluggish demand pulls down Asian PTA prices on Tuesday

PTA prices declined in Asia on Tuesday due to sluggish product demand in the region.
In FE Asia, PTA prices marched lower by US$ 5/ton on Tuesday and assessed at US$ 645/ton as compared to Monday.
In SE Asia, PTA prices went down by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 665/ton on Tuesday.
In India, PTA prices decreased by US$ 5/ton from Monday’s assessed level and quoted at US$ 670/ton on Tuesday.
