Spindelfabrik Suessen names José Geraldes as MD

The board of directors of Germany based producer of open end and compact spinning technology Spindelfabrik Suessen GmbH has named José Geraldes as managing director. Geraldes has rich experience of working in senior positions in various other textile machinery companies like Groz-Beckert and Christian Bauer GmbH, apart from a stint at Bosch.
While at Bosch, Geraldes was in charge for hydraulics/pneumatics and diesel fuel injection systems. In 1999, he moved to Groz-Beckert KG, where he was engaged in various technical functions for the eleven years that he worked here.
Among others, he was head of a subsidiary in Portugal at Groz Beckert for many years and after his return to Germany, was head of the centre for technology and development and finally head of the division for weaving accessories and weaving preparation. (AR)
