SPINEXPO shows in Paris, New York, Shanghai

Organised and curated by a team of international textile specialists, the Shanghai exhibition will present its 30th edition during August 29-31, 2017 in Pudong, showcasing over 200 specially selected companies.

SPINEXPO has been a catalyst for the textile and fashion industry, attracting top-level international buyers to Asia, whilst accompanying the growth of Asia’s fashion brands looking for innovative products.

The show continues to be a driving force in moving suppliers and buyers forward, urging them to bring fresh and new ideas in design, innovation and technical application. The Shanghai trade show caters to a growing mid-end domestic market and international brands manufacturing in Asia.

The season kicks off in France on July 3, 2017 with the three-day exhibition which ends of July 5, 2017. SPINEXPO Paris 2nd edition is to be held in Paris central. The shows’ days have been extended to three from two due to demand from the exhibitors and visitors.

Products from leading top-level international exhibitors including 85 spinning mills, knitwear and machine manufactures as well as the swatch studios will be displayed at the show. SPINEXPO provides an innovation platform, a think tank of ideas, a place where exhibitors who push the boundaries of innovation and high quality present a broad spectrum of yarns and fibres for woven, knitwear and active wear, covering both flat bed and circular knitwear.

Exhibitors continuously strive for perfection within their products whilst also adapting to the changing market and needs of the industry. The season continues 15 days later with SPINEXPO New York, now in its 9th edition, to be held during July 18-20, 2017. The exhibition features 77 leading exhibitors, similar to those in Paris and is a B-to-B trade show attracting the key influential brands from New York and the American markets. Exhibitors will be showcasing innovative products with a focus on performance and functionality as well as new spinning and knitting techniques across core and fancy items. A special focus will be on a wider range of products with stock service, shorter lead times and faster delivery times.

The trend areas this season showcase the latest research and development from SPINACTIVE component. Merino’s, Coolmax and compression are all driving factors in the presentation by Eva De Laat in collaboration with SantoniShanghai. The focus will be on body engineering in stretch versus rigidity in compression and an urban active approach to merino.

SPINEXPLORE this season captures five stories that are inspired by a new wave of emerging energy in the world, with refreshing colour palettes, new spinning techniques, yarn compositions and innovative stitch collections that bring refined sophistication. (SV)
