Sunrise Strategic Partners, LLC, based in Boulder, Colarado, a newly formed accelerator of emerging brands co-founded by Steve Hughes and private equity firm Trilantic North America, have announced a minority investment in Pact Apparel, a team bringing a story of change to the everyday apparel category with its line of super soft organic and fair trade cotton basics.

"Steve's strategic thinking - and Sunrise's growth capital - will help accelerate Pact's mission to become the Basics Brand for the Change Generation," said Brendan Synnott, CEO of Pact. "Sunrise understands the culture that makes challenger brands successful, and their location in Boulder is an added bonus. I look forward to working closely with Sunrise to take Pact to the next level."

"Pact is on the forefront of transforming the way apparel is made. The brand's ethically produced garments are resonating with the socially conscious and value driven consumers that are becoming increasingly vocal in the marketplace," said Steve Hughes, Sunrise Strategic Partners CEO. "Brendan Synnott is a proven leader in the natural products industry, and I'm looking forward to working with him to continue to grow the Pact brand."

The investment from Sunrise will enable Pact to accelerate growth by focusing on increasing distribution and investing in marketing. This investment marks the first for Sunrise, a newly formed investment vehicle that provides growth capital and expertise to early stage health and wellness brands to support their development, add strategic value and share guidance on tactical priorities.
