Teijin Frontier, Teijin Group's fibre product converting company is participating at Première Vision Paris, which will be held in Paris from February 16-18, 2016 in stand 6F-23.

Teijin Frontier's booth will double the lineup of Teijin products, including fabric incorporating two outstanding proprietary materials, Solotex and Deltapeak.

“The exhibits will also showcase selected materials for Spring/Summer 2017 fashions that were developed with special spinning and post-processing techniques,” Teijin stated in a press release.

“By displaying a wide variety of fashion applications, Teijin Frontier expects to broaden awareness of its products and thereby contribute to expanded business in the European market,” it added.

Solotex, a polytrimethylene terephthalate fibre is exceptionally soft, highly stretchable, shape retaining, durable and achieves deep and vivid colours.

The booth will present a wide range of hybrid products that blend Solotex with other natural and synthetic fibres for new textures and functions, demonstrating its appeal as an all-purpose fashion material.

According to Teijin, since 37 per cent of raw materials are bio-derived, Solotex is an environmentally friendly choice as well.

On the other hand, Deltapeak is an advanced polyester fabric that closely integrates physicality, functionality and quality.

“In addition to softness, durability and elasticity, it offers ultraviolet protection and anti-transparency, as well as snag resistance, making it an ideal material for sports apparel,” the company informed.

The booth will also present a variety of Deltapeak fabrics for fashion, including knit fabrics with a textile-like appearance.

Teijin's main fields of operation are high-performance fibres such as aramid, carbon fibres and composites, healthcare, films, resin and plastic processing, polyester fibres, products converting and IT.

The group has some 150 companies and around 16,000 employees spread out over 20 countries worldwide and posted consolidated sales of $6.6 billion in fiscal ending March 31, 2015. (AR)
