Tempur Sealy expanding facilities in US & Mexico

The world’s largest bedding supplier Tempur Sealy is relocating as well as upgrading its South Gate Sealy plant to a new location in the Los Angeles area, which will be operational in 2018. Additionally, the company is also expanding capacity at its Mexico facility. Both initiatives are being undertaken to enable further growth of the company.
According to Tempur Sealy, the company has outgrown the existing South Gate Sealy plant, which is also in need of modernisation. The new location will be a state-of-the art facility and is expected to include a new distribution centre.
In order to expand operations in Mexico, Tempur Sealy has purchased additional land adjacent to its existing Sealy manufacturing plant in Toluca, Mexico.
The company’s joint venture in South Korea, Sealy South Korea also has recently opened a manufacturing and distribution centre outside of Seoul. (AR)
