Textile Forum Spring trade show will take place at One Marylebone, London from March 9-10, 2016, with more than 70 collections of luxury fashion fabrics on show.

“Among the first time exhibitors at next week's show is Offset Warehouse, with its range of ethical fabrics, including collections produced from banana stalks,” a Textile Forum press release stated.

“There is also a 'world's first', a Scottish merino wool blended with silk from Holland & Sherry, while advancements in digital printing will be found at exhibitors such as R A Smart and Forest Digital.

Laurent Garigue, Bennett Silks, Pongees, Henry Bertrand, Michael's Bridal Fabrics, James Hare, G H Leathers, A W Hainsworths, Bernstein & Banleys, Schwarzschild Ochs, Chrisanne Clover, etc are regular exhibitors.

As part of its support for next generation designers, Textile Forum will once again hold a briefing session for students in the morning of March 10.

The Fashion & Textile Children's Trust, the exhibition charity partner, is sponsoring refreshments and to raise funds and there will be a raffle for a designer bag.

Linda Laderman, co founder, Textile Forum said, "To maintain their position in the global marketplace, fabric suppliers continue to invest in the people and processes that together deliver innovative fabrics.”

“We are delighted to be able to showcase exceptional collections from the UK, Continental Europe, Japan, Thailand and the US,” she added.

“Textile Forum is unique in that our exhibitors are geared up to provide the swatches, sample lengths and low minimums for sampling that the majority of our independent designer visitors need,” Laderman observed.

“With its central location, buyers from the multiples and the stores, as well as the major brands, are also attracted by the opportunity to see a great selection of innovative fabrics and accessories in one place,” Textile Forum informed. (AR)
