Textile recycling machine maker Laroche to partake at ITMA

Laroche, a France based producer of textile waste recycling lines is displaying the new 'Airfelt/Resin Felt 2400' machine in hall 3 booth G 101 at ITMA 2015.

According to the company, the Airfelt is a new and simpler type of vertical Airlay which retains the advantages of true air forming technology,” the com.

“With a weight range of 300-3000 gsm, it is suitable for most products used by the automotive and furniture industries,” a Laroche press release informed.

“With the 'Resin felt' option it is possible to add phenolic or epoxy resin to the airlaid mat which is then semi cured in a steam oven,” the company said in a press release.

It will also be showing a tearing machine, the Jumbo 2000 for high capacity recycling of all types of textile wastes including used clothing and post-consumer carpet wastes.

Another machine on display is the Edge trim opener 'Minitrim 200' for online or offline recycling of light weight edge trims.

At its stand, Laroche will also be showing products made from recycled post-consumer mattresses and carpets.

Its ITMA team will be on hand to discuss decortications and refining of bast fibres for technical applications and new fibre blending and dosing lines. (AR)
