Tight product supply pushes Asian MEG prices

MEG prices surged in Asia in the last week due to tight supply of product in the region.
 
In SE Asia, average prices inched higher by US$ 45/ton and quoted at US$ 855/ton in the last week, a rise of 5.56 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In India, average prices soared by US$ 45/ton and assessed at US$ 855/ton in the last week, an increase of 5.56 per cent over the previous week.
 
In China, average prices stepped up by US$ 50/ton and quoted at US$ 845/ton in the last week, a climb of 6.29 per cent compared to previous week.
