Tight supply pushes up propylene prices in Europe

Propylene prices went up in Europe in the last week due to tight supply of product in the region.

In Europe, average prices increased by US$ 45/ton and quoted at US$ 955/ton in the last week, an increment of 4.95 per cent as compared to previous week.

Meanwhile in US, average propylene prices soared by 5 cents/pound and assessed at 45 cents/pound, a rise of 12.50 per cent as compared to previous week due to firm energy in the market.
