Ethylene prices up in Europe but down in US last week

Ethylene prices went up in Europe in the last week ending Oct 17, due to tight product availability, while they declined in the US market.
Average European ethylene prices rose by US$ 15/ton or 1.239 percent from its previous week and were quoted at US$ 1180/ton last week.
However in the US, average ethylene prices fell 4 cents/pound and were assessed at 66 cents/pound last week, as compared to previous week, a decrease of 5.71 percent.
