Santex bags Vietnam order for Santashrink drying machines

Swiss-based Santex Group has signed a contract with Gain Lucky (Vietnam) Ltd to deliver six Santashrink drying machines, installation of which are planned in batches until mid July.
“Santashrink is the perfect solution for shrinkage, relaxation, and tensionless drying of tubular or open-width knitted fabric,” Santex said in a press release.
Gain Lucky is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ningbo Shenzhou Group, a major producer of knitted fabric and clothes based in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China.
In 2014, Santex had sold four Santashrink drying ma-chines to Gain Lucky during the first phase of the project.
All these machines are manufactured by Santex (Shanghai) Textile Machinery Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Santex Group.
Santex founded its subsidiary in Shanghai in 2005 in order to provide Chinese customers with high quality textile machinery and local services.
The manufacturer of machinery for knit fabrics finishing said it is committed to develop and maintain the Chinese textile market.
There have been major investments in Southeast Asia during the recent years, especially in Vietnam and Cambodia and some Chinese textile manufacturers have set-up production plants in those countries.
“High quality, low maintenance costs, and on time service are the most important criteria, when it comes to investment decisions, which is the reason, Gain Lucky chose machines from Santex,” it informed.
Santex AG, established in 1982, is one of the leading manufacturers of textile machines for knit fabrics finishing.
The R&D centre including those of electronics and software is located in Switzerland and its subsidiaries in China and India serve the most important markets in the world. (AR)
