The Ci7860 was specifically designed to minimise the contribution of inter-instrument agreement to colour variation, ensuring the most accurate and consistent colour control.
The new Ci7860 has an inter-instrument agreement specification of 0.06 average Delta E, which represents a 25 per cent improvement over other sphere spectrophotometers.
“As a result, the Ci7860 enables brands to create the most precise master colour standards and communicate these digitally, in place of physical samples, to supply chain partners,” X-Rite said.
X-Rite created the Ci7860 in response to feedback from consumer brands seeking a new level of colour consistency.
“The improved inter-instrument agreement of the Ci7860 ensures a higher rate of accuracy throughout the production process, reducing a key source of potential colour error,” said Chris Winczewski, vice president of product marketing, X-Rite Pantone. (AR)
