IWTO Congress from 7-9 May in New York

The 81st IWTO Congress is being held from 7-9 May 2012 in New York. The theme for the IWTO Congress is WOOL IN THE CITY.
Imagine city suits, active sports in Central Park, luxurious Park Avenue homes and premium fashion retailers. New York is the perfect ambassador city for the versatile luxury fibre wool. The Congress will provide a networking platform for key industry players from throughout the value chain, including leading New York based retailers.
Various forums and speakers from the wool industry will provide deep insights on future consumer markets and the way forward to strengthen our wool industry. We are currently putting together the programme and there will be a prominent Retail Day covering both apparel and interior textiles.
The main Congress hotel for events and accommodation will be the Millennium Broadway Hotel.
The online registration will open early February 2012. We will keep you updated with more information about the Congress in due course.

International Wool Textile Organisation - IWTO is the international body representing the interests of the world's wool-textile trade and industry. As such, its membership covers the woolgrowers, traders, primary processors, spinners and weavers of wool and allied fibres in its member-countries, as well as all kind of organisations related to wool products and the wool business in general.
