Home textiles will be on show at AISF

Now in its third edition, the fair will be enhanced by the addition of exhibitors from some of the world’s leading home textile countries such as Egypt, Pakistan and India.

This year the Carpet Export Promotion Council of India will join the India pavilion for the first time and bring ten companies showcasing a range of floor coverings.

India is well known for its hand-knotted rugs that present an intricate design and colour pattern. Other handmade rugs which are also popular are tufted and flat woven chain stitch, dhurries and sumacs. Hand-tufted rugs are highly durable and resemble the more intricate hand knotted style, and are available in traditional, transitional and contemporary styles. This will all be on show at the fair.
