EU firms to display textile machineries at IGATEX 2006

The 5th International Garment Textile and Leather Machinery exhibition IGATEX 2006 is scheduled to be held at Karachi Expo Centre during April 26-29, 2006.
Leading textile machinery associations from European Union(EU) are expected to participate and display their products at this exhibition.
Managing Director, Conference and Exhibition Management Services, Edward Liu informs that former Chairman of German Machinery Association (VDMA) is also likely to attend the exhibition and conference on textiles at IGATEX 2006.
Textile associations from Spain are also scheduled to attend IGATEX with over 300 international exhibitors from 30 countries displaying their machineries.
Leading textile machinery producers are expected to put forward their views on textile issues at a round table conference scheduled to be held at sidelines of IGATEX.
Minister for Textile Industry, Mushtaq Ali Cheema will chair the conference on "The Role of Technology in the Development of the Textile Industry in Pakistan and South Asia in the Context of the WTO Environment."
Liu has also extended invitation to faculty members of technology Universities in Pakistan, especially textile institutes to attend the conference.
The conference will help invitees to update their knowledge on textile machinery and acquint them to the rapid change taking place in textile industry technology today.
