The conference is a joint initiative of Cotton Australia and the Australian Cotton Shippers Association.
Cotton Australia CEO, Adam Kay, says the Australian Cotton Conference has drawn growers from as far north as Emerald in Queensland, and from as far south as Swan Hall in Victoria.
“The Australian Cotton Conference is a great opportunity for growers to network as a part of the broader cotton community and connect with the whole supply chain,” Mr Kay says.
“The record number of attendees, well over 1700, speaks volumes for the resilience of our industry and the support the growers give to Australia’s cotton community.”
“Importantly, this year has attracted a contingent from the Riverina and Northern Victoria, which are areas the industry is currently expanding in.”
