SMOI to promote Silk Mark globally

Silk Mark, a Government authorised label, sponsored by Central Silk Board to assure customers its quality, is to be promoted at global stage especially in US and EU by Silk Mark Organisation of India (SMOI).
SMOI is participating in many international fairs to bring awareness on Silk Mark among the buyers and sellers of the Indian silk.
SMOI's Chief Executive Officer, Vandana Kumar informed that they are going to participate in Magic Fair, one of the biggest expos in world to be held in Las Vegas in August.
She further added that internationally accepted norms would be extended to Silk Mark along with the parameters defined.
Efforts are on to work closely with industry associations, retailers and importers in the major silk consuming countries like the US, Japan, Middle East and Germany.
SMOI's Silk Mark consists of a paper tag affixed with high-security e-beam hologram having concealed features for maximum security.
