TID Bid Committee issues quantitative limits of textile exports

Trade and Industry Department, Hong Kong announces that the Committee on Bid Invitation for Quantitative Limits of Textile Exports of the Ministry of Commerce (the Committee) issued a notice on November 10, 2006.
Inviting enterprises qualified to participate in bid invitation for quantitative limits for textile exports to the European Union and the United States in 2006 to submit written applications for quantitative limits at cost in accordance with the procedures set out in the notice by November 17 2006.
The Committee will announce the results of the voluntary applications on November 20 2006. Quantitative limits obtained through this exercise are not transferable.
They will be counted as the quantitative limits of textile exports obtained through bidding by the enterprises concerned.
