CFTI to provide machineries to footwear manufacturers & exporters

Central Footwear Technology Institute (CFTI) is going to provide high-tech machines to footwear manufacturers and exporters of Agra on the basis of spare capacity basis.
These machines are provided under the Center's schemes for technological advancements in the footwear manufacturing.
Institute recently has procured an automated die-less cutting machine which is capable of reducing labour cost in leather upper cutting, marking and numbering.
It can finish 1,500 man-hours' work in just 24 hours with 100 per cent accuracy and can decide automatically about the utilization of leather waste left after the cutting of shoe uppers from the sheet.
This machine will be useful for students of the CFTI to get familiarised with it.
