Leather association launches genuine mark in English

In order to promote leather trade in global market, China Leather Industry Association has introduced genuine leather mark in English.
On January 12, 2007, English version of certificate and genuine leather mark was launched by the association.
China Leather Industry Association has introduced this mark in 1994 for the first time and it is now registered in 14 countries.
This mark ensures about originality of leather, high quality and proper after sales service. Last year, about 450 categories of leather goods consisted genuine leather mark.
New mark in English will be available only in the leather goods to be exported.
