Huntsman Textile Effects launches New Silicone Coating Products

Huntsman's Textile Effects business segment has launched a new range of high-performance silicone coating products. DICRYLAN S, W and C polymers are designed for Technical Textiles and other high-performance applications, including building and industrial materials, protective, medical and sports textiles, and apparel.
“DICRYLAN S, W and C polymers expand our range of specialty chemical coatings,” said Michael Effing, Vice President, Textile Effects, Region Europe, Middle East and Africa.
“Together with our customers, we develop tailor-made solutions to meet their requirements to help them achieve the results they require. We provide not only the products but also a comprehensive technical and consulting service.”
DICRYLAN S, W and C coating polymers have very high resistance to abrasion, ageing and fluctuating temperatures as well as high heat stability and excellent fastness to washing. In addition to numerous other advantages, the products also have good barrier properties and are skin friendly.
