International Embroidery Conference to open on August 28

The concept of an International Embroidery Conference was originated by EGA in 1994 and continues on a regular basis with the goal of providing a unique learning opportunity for embroiderers, designers, academicians, and researchers in the textile arts. Needlework scholars gather to listen, view, and discuss needle art through the ages.
The International Embroidery Conference will be held on August 28-30, 2008 at The Brown Hotel, Louisville, KY.
Conference Schedule: • Thursday, August 28th Registration, Evening Lecture, and a dessert reception
• Friday, August 29th Two morning lectures and an afternoon event
• Saturday, August 30th Two morning lectures & closing afternoon lecture
