GUESS to go fur-free after Sept

Following an international campaign by anti-fur activists, multinational fashion chain GUESS has announced that it will continue to sell fur this Autumn/Winter season, but will not buy fur after September 2007, and will stop selling fur in their 800 shops worldwide by April 2008.
Although we welcome GUESS's decision to go fur-free, we are disappointed that the company intends to continue buying fur until September and selling fur throughout this Winter.
There is no excuse for the fur trade, and we urge everyone to contact GUESS. Tell them you are pleased they have taken the compassionate decision to go fur-free, but ask them to bring forward their fur-free policy and not continue to contribute to this horrendous cruelty for any longer than they already have.
