International Transportation & Logistic Conference in Feb

Following the success of the first event, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the above Logistics & Transportation Conference and subsequently forward this invitation to members of your Chamber who are interested to attend the conference.

The Conference, due to take place in February 2008, is actively supported by the Ministry of Industry & Trade & and the Ministry of Transport. Representatives from the Ministry of Transport will be presenting the nation's plans for the further development of roads, railways for freight transportation, seaports and airports.

The Ministry of Industry & Trade will be providing important information on Israel's trade agreements with other countries. Other speakers will talk about global trends in shipping, logistics and transportation.

Port2Port's Conference agenda is prepared in consultation with an advisory group consisting of senior industry executives and experts. The advisory group is headed by Dr. Yoram Sebba, former Vice Chairman and CEO of Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd, and Active Chairman of UTi Israel.

Our list of honorable key speakers includes Mr. William Gottlieb– President of FIATA, Mr. Roger McFarlane- CEO of UTi, Mr. Doron Goder- CEO of Zim, regional managers from Maersk Line and FedEx, senior Vice President of Kuehne + Nagel and many others.
